The Silkstreet of Krefeld, House of Silk Culture, Krefeld
During 4 months, I visited 50 people in their homes. During these intensive visiting times, the people created an element of the „SO! Silk-Tablecloth_KR-50“. In the finishing process, I put the individual elements together to form the SO! Social Object.
Social Weaving, Haus Esters, Krefeld
Within 3 months, parts for a woven carpet were woven on weaving machines in Haus Esters. Additional elements for the large woven rug were created in satellite campaigns distributed throughout the city. In the end, the carpet was purchased at auction by the climate foundation cooldownearth and is now part of the collection.

The SO! Social Object SO! Bag_W-4, 2019 is shown in 2023 as part of the exhibition “Productive Spaces” in Haus Lange, Haus Esters.
Käthe!, Pförtnerloge, Fabrik Heeder, BBK Niederrhein
During a work scholarship of the BBK Niederrheins I created a large crow bird with the name „Käthe“ in 2 months. Schools, groups and private persons took part in the project. Käthe flew through the city for the opening.

STUDIO JULIA TIMMER
